Jeff Tambellini (born April 13, 1984, in Port Moody, British Columbia) is a professional hockey player for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League. He played college hockey for the University of Michigan and was named Alternate Captain of the team before being drafted in the first-round (27th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. On March 8, 2006, Jeff was traded, along with Denis Grebeshkov, to his father's former team, the New York Islanders, in exchange for Mark Parrish and Brent Sopel.Now holds sound tigers single season record for most points with 76 in 57 games

His father, Steve Tambellini, played in the NHL as a member of the New York Islanders.
