Martin Pierre Brodeur (05/06/1972) Montreal, Quebec) is an NHL Hockey goaltender.

Martin started his NHL carreer with the New Jersey Devils, and there he has remained ever since. During his 13 year career with the Devils, he has lead the team to three Stanley Cup championships while obtaining the most playoff shutouts during a playoff season(7, in 2002–03)

Brodeur has been one of the most consistent NHL goaltenders over the past ten years. He has consistantly won at least 35 games each season for the past ten years and is the only goalie in NHL history to get seven 40 win seasons.
