The Ottawa Sens are still floundering, even after the recent firing of their head coach. The Sens are 8-13-2 since Jan 13th. The Sens have averaged 2.0 GAG in their last five games and their power play has three goals in nine tries. Their defense needs to improve on the penalty kill. Martin Gerber ended a personal four-game losing streak Saturday, stopping 25 of 29 shots. Gerber, who spent his first two NHL seasons with the Ducks, did not make any postseason appearances last season for the Senators. Ottawa is 3-7 SU in its last 10 games and Ottawa is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Anaheim.

The surging Ducks look to match a season high with their sixth straight win tonight. The Ducks played Friday without Chris Pronger, who is expected to miss about a week after undergoing jaw surgery.
