The Minnesota Wild have had the Vancouver Canucks beat three times in a row and their looking for number four tonight.
The Wilds lead the Northwest division with a six point lead over 2nd place Vancouver and Calgary. Marion Gaborik has seven goals and three assists in his last nine games and he ranks third in the Western Conference with 32 goals. Minnesota has won 20 of the 22 games in which he has scored, including each of the last 17. Each of Minnesota's last four wins have come in either a shootout or overtime. The Vancouver Canucks are failing to win games that are important. Goalie Roberto Luongo is letting in way too many goals for a goalie of his stature. He’s allowed 15 goals in five games and he’s got one win in his last four on the road. He has not beaten the Wild all year. He’s allowed the Wild eleven goals to our four scored. Their defense has improved with the return of Willy Mitchell but they need to continue to score and stay out of the penalty box.
Bottom Line: The Wild will make it four in a row tonight.
