GAME: Columbus Blue Jackets (26-24-3-6) at Detroit Red Wings (41-13-1-4)

The league leading Detroit Red Wings have suffered four straight loses and could be looking at five in a row, something they haven’t done since Nov 17-25 2006. Chris Osgood was in net during their recent losing skid. He went 0-3-0 with a 5.25 GAA. OUCH! But I bet their glad to be playing the struggling Columbus Blue Jackets who have lost seven of their last eight. Dominik Hasek is still listed as day to day. The Wings are 21-6 at home.
Blue Jackets have goalie troubles with Pascal Leclaire in net. He allowed four 1st period goals in their 7-2 home loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. They do however have great offense with Rick Nash who has 48pts this season. Columbus took the last game 3-2 (SO) for a 2-1 Detroit lead in a five game series. The Blue Jackets are 10-15-1-2 on the road.
