The Toronto Maple Leafs
I will start off with the Maple Leafs since they are the most predictable. OK, so, this team has been rebuilding since the 60’s and making false promises since the 70’s, hmm… they must be REALLY rebuilding… forty years is a long time… Must be like super underground stuff going on with them and making us think they will never get better is apart of their master plan. And then one day, like in a handful of years, BOOM! They will be actual competitors. I think maybe they have a clone army in the works, who knows right? Maybe they’ve cloned Matts Sundin and they are just working out all if the bumps with these machines and fine tuning them. I wouldn’t put it past the Maple Leafs, though, I truly wouldn’t. Hopefully they’ve cloned Darcy Tucker as well, since he is gone now too. You know, they do have a lot of depth on the blue line I’ll give them that. McCabe, Kaberle, Kubina, these guys are point makers and good protectors as well. And they do has Vesa Toskola in net, and if he is out, Curtis Joseph… haha ya. Cu Joe.
But, who is up front? Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t know many of those names… never thought to learn them. But who is gonna be the new leader on this team? Jason Blake, I guess. I don’t know, I compare watching the Leafs play to watching fish drown. The fish are never going to drown, and the Leafs are never going to make the playoffs, well, not until the league approves their clone army and Pat Quinn is asked to coach again. Haha just joking. Pat Quinn.
Next ….The Montreal Canadians
Hopefully in retaliation mode…
